We are delighted to announce the appointment of Kate Brindley as the new Chair of the Board of Trustees at Site Gallery.
Kate Brindley brings extensive leadership experience, having recently held significant roles such as Director of Arts, Culture and Heritage at the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority and Cultural Development Consultant at Sheffield City Council. Previously, she has led arts organisations including MIMA in Middlesborough, and Bristol’s Arnolfini and its Museum and Art Gallery.
“Site Gallery has an important role to play in Sheffield and the region for artists and communities. I am so impressed with their leadership in the city. I am looking forward to working with the talented team and trustees to deepen reach and impact.“

Kate succeeds our outgoing Chair Tom Fleming, who’s leadership throughout the past eight years, has helped shape the gallery’s vision and growth, and has guided the organisation through a significant period of re-development, including the expansion of the gallery space in 2018.
“It has been such an honour to be the Chair of Site Gallery. It’s a special organisation in a great city. I want to thank the staff, volunteers and Board for all their incredible work in ensuring Site plays a central and innovative role in Sheffield’s cultural life. I am also thrilled to welcome Kate Brindley as new Chair of Site Gallery. These are exciting times for the organisation and the city”.
