Interspecies Entanglements: Online Reading Group
event • 04 Apr 2023 – 23 May 2023Join Site's Programme Producer Robyn Haddon for a reading group that takes a closer look at the extended universe of research and references that has inspired our exhibition, Interspecies Entanglements.
We will reflect on trees as time machines, where our corporeal boundaries begin and end, on what happens when you give a natural entity human rights and the inner lives of more-than-humans, including the machine intelligences we are teaching and raising in this current world.
Please note that the reading group will take place over Zoom and you will be sent a link before the session. You will also be sent a selection of materials to read/watch/listen to at least a week in advance of the session you have booked on to.
Tuesday 4 April, 6 – 7.30pm
Tuesday 25 April, 6 – 7.30pm
Tuesday 23 May, 6 – 7.30pm
Places are limited to 15 per session. There is no requirement to come to all the sessions in order to take part, you may come to as many or as few as you like.
