The exhibition In the City of Last Things ran concurrently with the 10th Venice biennale of architecture which focused on cities and social dynamics. Following a competitive bidding process, a Sheffield based team of artist, architects and designers led by architect Jeremey Till were selected to curate the British Pavillion.

Their exhibition took an ‘echo’ of Sheffield to Venice, presenting the city in a fresh and provocative manner that has lessons for the future of Sheffield and the other cities. Jeremy and the team involved in Echo/City presented their project and how it reflects and responds to the changing face of the city.
